Call to Worship: All Glory Be to Christ – words by Dustin Kensrue, Tune Auld Lang Syne by Robert Burns

We introduced this new song written to an old and familiar tune Auld Lang Syne. All Glory be to Christ touches on a lot of different themes from Psalm 127 “Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain.”  to themes borrowed from the Lords Prayer “His will be done, His kingdom come, on earth as is above.”  The overarching theme of this song is Christ’s glory in all things and our need of dependence on him.
All glory be to Christ our king!
All glory be to Christ!
His rule and reign we’ll ever sing,
All glory be to Christ!
